USA Today wrote that Terry's "urgent, gut-wrenching voice, spanning tenor to falsetto, soars on meaty material."[6] The Tampa Tribune thought that "this pretty-boy crooner sticks with his strengths, which include showcasing some emotional weaknesses."[5]
