Start the Car is the third solo album by American singer/songwriter Jude Cole. Released in 1992, five years after his self-titled debut solo album. After A View from Third Street, Jude Cole shifted to a more heartland rock sound. The album peaked at number 46 in Australia and number 24 in Sweden. Its lead single, "Start the Car", became a hit in several countries, reaching number six on the US Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart, number 24 in Canada, and number 59 in Australia.[2][3][4]
